1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation Before Production Begins

If you need to cancel your order before manufacturing starts:

  • You must provide written notice via email to hello@domeguysmauritius.com
  • 50% deposit refund is available minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Processing time: 14-21 business days
  • Refund will be issued via the same payment method used

1.2 Cancellation After Production Begins

Once manufacturing has commenced:

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Customer is liable for all costs incurred to date
  • This includes materials, labor, and shipping arrangements

1.3 Cancellation After Delivery

  • No cancellations accepted - All sales are final
  • Warranty claims may still apply for defects (see Terms of Service)

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Order cancellation before production: 50% deposit refund minus 10% admin fee
  • Manufacturing defects: Full replacement or repair (no cash refund)
  • Company-initiated cancellation: Full refund of all payments received
  • Non-delivery by company: Full refund if we fail to deliver within agreed timeline (excluding force majeure)

2.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of mind after production begins
  • Failure to obtain required building permits (customer responsibility)
  • Site conditions that prevent installation (customer must ensure site suitability)
  • Delays caused by weather, customs, or force majeure events
  • Customer non-payment of remaining balance after deposit
  • Damage caused by customer misuse, negligence, or modifications

3. Refund Processing

3.1 Timeline

  • Refund approval: 7-10 business days after receiving written request
  • Bank processing: 14-21 business days depending on your financial institution
  • Total expected time: 3-4 weeks

3.2 Refund Method

  • Refunds issued via the original payment method
  • Bank transfer refunds require verified account details
  • Currency: Mauritian Rupees (MUR)

4. Changes to Order

4.1 Modification Requests

Changes to your order specifications:

  • Before production: Free modifications allowed (subject to pricing adjustments)
  • During production: Limited modifications - additional charges apply
  • After completion: No modifications possible

4.2 Upgrade/Downgrade

  • Upgrades: Customer pays the price difference
  • Downgrades: Credit applied to remaining balance (if production not started)

5. Defects and Warranty Claims

If you discover defects or issues with your dome:

  • Report issues within 30 days of installation completion
  • Provide photographic evidence of the defect
  • We will assess and arrange repair or replacement at no cost (if covered by warranty)
  • Warranty repairs/replacements are provided instead of cash refunds

6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Cyclones, floods, earthquakes, or natural disasters
  • Government restrictions or regulatory changes
  • Shipping disruptions or customs delays
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • War, civil unrest, or political instability

In such cases, timelines will be extended accordingly, and no refunds will be issued.

7. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  1. Email: hello@domeguysmauritius.com
  2. Subject: "Refund Request - Order #[Your Order Number]"
  3. Include:
    • Full name and contact details
    • Order number and date
    • Reason for refund request
    • Bank account details for refund (if applicable)
  4. Await confirmation from our team (7-10 business days)

8. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  • Contact our customer service team to discuss your concerns
  • Provide any additional evidence or documentation
  • We will review your case and respond within 14 business days
  • If unresolved, disputes are subject to Mauritius law and jurisdiction
